Composer, performer and researcher. She is currently a PhD candidate in ethnomusicology (Nova Un.-Lisbon) and a research fellow (FCT). She composes for orchestra, theater, musical theater, cinema and dance. She published five albums and was honored with the Zeca Afonso Prize, awarded by CM Almada and Labjovem – Music and Theater Prizes, awarded by the Azores Government
